Rebecca Birch

Rebecca Birch is Director of Research and Practice at a K-12 independent school in Sydney. She worked as a learning support officer in diverse settings while she undertook her teacher training after a successful career in advertising and fashion. Rebecca has provided consultation and content services for Ochre Education, Catholic Education Canberra Goulburn, and Catholic Education Tasmania. She has also appeared on panels for researchED and the Gonski Institute for Education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Teaching from University of Technology, Sydney. Her current Masters research is on the links between explicit instruction, self-regulated learning and student wellbeing.
