Dr. Alan Dupont AO is CEO of geopolitical risk consultancy the Cognoscenti Group. He has held advisory and board positions in government and the corporate sector and senior appointments at leading Australian universities, including as the foundation Michael Hintze Professor of International Security at the University of Sydney. He has advised several Australian ministers of defence and foreign affairs and many international companies and foreign governments. He holds a PhD in international relations from the Australian National University and is a graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon and the US Foreign Service Institute.
