Is technology our educational saviour?

A free and open marketplace for education technology has the potential to deliver innovative solutions to boost effectiveness, efficiency, and equity in Australian schooling. Technology now plays a crucial role in the daily work of schools and in supporting student assessment. However, constructive adoption of technology has been constrained by regulatory burdens and resistance to change. Moderated by CIS education research fellow Glenn Fahey. ​

Jamie Beaton is CEO and Co-Founder of Crimson Education and President of Crimson Global Academy, a fully registered online international high school.

Wayne Houlden is Vice Chairman and Founder of Janison Education Group, a leading provider of digital assessment.

John Hattie is Laurette Professor at Melbourne Graduate School of Education and chair of the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership.
