Nancy Dyson

Dr Nancy Dyson is a research associate at the University of Delaware whereshe received her doctorate, studying under Dr Nancy Jordan and Dr James Hiebert. The focus of her research is developing and testing instructional approaches and curricula for students who struggle with mathematics. She has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and has made numerous conference presentations on this topic. She has co-authored a popular number-sense intervention program with Dr Jordan, Number Sense Interventions, and is currently co-principal investigator with Dr Jordan on a five-year efficacy grant funded by Institute of Education Sciences: Examining the Efficacy of a Fraction Sense Intervention Grounded in Principles from the Science of Learning
