Rachael Kohn AO, FRSN is an author, commentator and an award-winning producer and broadcaster. She has written three books, edited a fourth and written numerous articles for leading publications, journals and newspapers.

Born in Canada, Rachael earned an Hon. BA, MA and PhD in religious studies, and taught religious studies and Semitic studies at universities in Australia, England and Canada before joining the ABC in 1992.

In 2024, Dr Kohn was made Doctor of the University by the Australian Catholic University and in 2005 she was awarded a Doctor of Letters honoris causa by the University of New South Wales
