Shrink Taxation by Shrinking Government! explores the link between tax reform and smaller government as envisaged by CIS’s TARGET30 campaign. It shows how much the tax burden could be reduced if TARGET30 were to be achieved and explains the importance of such a reduction in delivering the benefits of smaller government.

Robert Carling is a Senior Fellow at The Centre for Independent Studies. He was a senior official with the NSW Treasury until 2006, and before that, with the Commonwealth Treasury, the World Bank, and the IMF.
